ABOUT THE PROJECT:

Sawai is a manufacturer of Maharashtrian masalas and chutneys. They wanted the packaging to say that out loud that the spices and chutneys are authentic Maharashtrian in taste. They wanted the elements to say that it is from maharashtra but in a modern way and not make the pack look dated.

ROUTE:

Geography is the most appropriate and verstile ways to demarcate places and show the variety from a region. Since the regional flavours were to be highlighted, I thought this was a good way to

go about it.

 

The pack is made up of the physical map of Maharashtra and only the region being talked about is highlighted. The colour of the pack is

rusty and vintage which is reminicent of an old map. The treatement is done so to show the authenticity of the product.

The project couldn't go live because of clients' changes in the brief.
